Amazon.com Review Blending rustic style with modern tailoring, this coffee table makes a distinctive solo statement or adds the finishing touch to Winsome Wood's matching hall and end tables. The roomy tabletop features a bevel-edged rectangular shape with a wide apron that hosts two storage drawers and plank-inspired panels. Below, the chunky rectangular legs are carved on the outside corner for airy elegance, and the open shelf displays collectibles, showcase large books, or holds sea grass baskets. Crafted of solid beechwood and finished in rich black with half-moon brushed chrome drawer pulls, this piece is classic enough to stay in style no matter how the furnishings around it change. It measures approximately 37-3/4 inches wide by 18-1/4 inches deep by 18 inches high; some assembly is required. --Kara Karll

Some flaws in paint May 4, 2010 Kevin Reese (Eugene, OR) I recently ordered this coffee table after buying the matching TV stand and I am glad I ordered it when it did. It has gone up in price $30 since I ordered it. The coffee table was easy to assemble but did have some paint flaws. On the drawer side of table the edges of the drawer were worn and the paint was missing. Also on the curved portion of the top there was a noticeable spot where the paint had been missed. All in all I decided these add character to the table and touched them up myself. Seeing as it is black it was easy enough to cover up. I wish they would have done a better job painting, but for the price I am quite pleased.
Not bad for the price May 4, 2010 Madee Bee (New York) I didn't have any issues with the seller or the product. It was a bit trickier to put together that I anticipated, but was able to get it done without any issues. It's also much heavier that I thought it would be (I didn't look at the weight when I bought it), so it's actually sturdier that I was expecting.
My table came with all the parts, no damage, and didn't look cheap, rough, or badly painted. I had no problems.
maybe one drawer is better March 21, 2010 My Two Cents (WI) This coffee table is a nice size for a smaller room, but I'd prefer only one drawer. Two drawers limit storage. It's sturdy and functional, though I may paint it because it "disappears" somewhat in the space and the corners are brutal on the shins!
You get what you pay for. March 10, 2010 M. Smith (Fairport, NY USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this about a month ago after I spent months looking for a coffee table that matched my decor and was reasonable priced. I was not willing to pay $300 plus for a glorified remote control holder. When I saw this it was exactly the style I was looking for and the price was right. The finish was already rubbed/scratched off in a few spots when I received it. These were easily fixed with a black sharpie. Take the black marker and color in the damaged spots, wipe the area while the ink is still damp and repeat. The shelf on the bottom is also not as sturdy as I would like. My cat(he is a big boy at 18 lbs) has decided this is his new perch and my teenager has decided it is a good footrest...one or the other has added strain to the shelf and I can see an area where it is already cracking near the hardware that connects it to the legs. And even though it opnly has a few pieces to put together it was a royal pain and unless you haev very tiny hands I think you will agree. All in all, it is nice looking and a good starter piece for someone but I don't see it lasting as long as I had hoped it would.
Winsome Wood Coffee Table February 3, 2010 C. Russell (Seattle, WA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The table is heavy with 2 nice drawers. It was simple to put together: about 30 minutes. The wrong instructions were included with the box but we were able to figure it out. The table is pretty small, but it fits our needs. Good place to hide remotes and other stuff and bottom shelf holds books and magazines. It really looks nice in our frontroom.
